It is so cute to watch him walk up to it, turn around, and slowly inch backwards until he can feel the chair on the back of his calves. Then he slowly sits in his chair, sometimes ending up too much on one side, but he manages. And then, of course, he gives himself a round of applause.

Success!
We had a pediatrician's visit for a weight check last Friday, and Spencer gained 4 lbs in a month! We went from 21 lbs to 25 lbs, so Spencer is no longer on his full-fat diet.
He has also learned to sit in his little booster chair; we put it on the floor next to his toys. It is so cute to watch him walk up to it, turn around, and slowly inch backwards until he can feel the chair on the back of his calves. What a towhead he is! I love that he claps for himself - it's a good lesson to learn early - you have to be your own biggest fan! I CAN'T wait to see him in September... he's changed so much since I last saw him.
